In some cases a fault with a device is due to a problem with the software loaded on to it (known as firmware). When this happens we can assist you with loading an updated firmware on to the device. This means the product will not have to be returned to us and you will have a working device much quicker and for no extra cost.
Telling us the current firmware version will assist in helping us decide if your problems can simply be solved by loading new software.
Pressing the question mark button on the phone will tell you the firmware version at the end of the first line of text. Also the firmware version can be found on the "System Information" page of the web interface. It is sometimes called "Application Version".
The firmware version is shown on the "Info" tab of the web interface. It is called "Software Version".
Shown in the web interface in the same place as Linksys Adaptors, also show on the phone's screen by pressing the menu button and selecting "Product Info". It is called "Software Version".

On the handset itself: go into the menu and the select the "Misc" option. The firmware is listed simply as "Version". In the web interface click on "User" and "Generic Information".
